I'm curious, in general what are the run-times for most of your encounters. I've started DMing for a group of kids that fluctuate players and am looking for encounters that can me easily finished within 2 hour time-frames. Would these work? I want the kids to feel like they've completed things at the end of the 2 hours and kids who miss a session don't feel totally lost.

The adventures generally take from 60-120 minutes, depending on the number of players. Certainly the shorter adventures (Basement O Rats, Escape From the Ghost Pirates, and The Wizard's Tower) will fit into your timeframe.

Hi,
on page 11 the sentence "You rummage among his clothes and find a large bunch of keys." is printed twice. imho it should not be in the conclusion part?

I purchased the Ghost Pirate adventure, and the board set up asks for skeleton archers and pirates, but my PDF only came with the ships Captain, both versions of him.

I came to ask this question. But I see it's been answered. I thought I had printed everything already for this adventure, but I guess not. Possibly update the pdf's referring to that? Or include them? That way it's easier for future users. Just a thought. Love the work you have done with the fantasy series so far.

The Escape from the Ghost Pirates adventure has this note at the start of the adventure:

"This adventure requires a copy of the Hero Kids RPG to play. The core game and this adventure include:
• Hero Cards for each player
• Monster Cards for the unique monsters in this adventure (ghost pirate captain) and the standard Hero Kids monsters (pirates and skeletons)"

I saw that, but just thought they would be included. No worries. I used some pirates from my boys toy collection. (kind of like the little green army men we played with when younger, but they were red). They enjoyed it greatly. And I said they were Ghosts not Skeletons. Every time they were KO'd, there belongings dropped to the floor and there body disappeared.
