I'm stoked to use this piece in my next adventure! Dean's art is fantastic and evocative! I definitely recommend his Patreon!

I love this image as it's not your typical mining tunnel, but a flooded mine that uses boats to haul the ore. I'm no artist, but I would think drawing water would be difficult and I think that waterfall looks fantastic!

The shape of the cube is great...really gives it that 'jello' look. I also like the fact that it's an elf. They always seem graceful, dainty....etc...but this image shows raw courage and an iron will to try and escape. The lighting is incredible.

This particular piece of art is the reason The Red Prophet Rises was written and published. When I looked at this piece of art, I wanted to know more...who is this centaur? Thought they were mainly peace loving/neutral....is it cursed by the helmet? Where are they fighting at? This piece of art definitely got my creative juices flowing and looked great on my adventure. Problem is, I could write that second to last sentence on all of Dean Spencer's art and I'm stoked I found his patreon.

Once again, Dean Spencer brings us another evocative piece that is easy to use in adventure writing. The detail is great, and the scene spurs the imagination. I highly recommend all his art for your projects!

I don't understand why you are reading this review while contemplating if you should buy this product. Are you serious? Yes, buy this product!! Maciej Zagorski captures the esssence of stock art and provides excellent artwork to be used all over your project. So many times if I have a blank space and need to fill it up, I go to my folder of purchased art from The Forge Studios and see what goodies I have to choose from. I personally label this type of art--theme art--because it sets the tone and setting for the reader. Sure, you may move on because of the price..but check out the publisher preview...20 pieces of art in here for that price!!! Absolutely worth it. The art captures that 'Old School' feel. I highly recommend all of the Forge Studios art--it has made the layout phase for my projects a lot easier!

I've been very pleased with the artwork of Bradley K McDevitt, I think the art captures that 'Old School' feel. I'm usually more drawn to the black and white pieces, but this particular piece worked perfectly for a project I was working on that deal with hags and I decided to put it on the cover. Perfect. The face of the hag makes people think...do I really want to open this adventure module? Or even...are you sure you want to open the door to this 'abandoned' cottage? Anyways...great stuff!

You can't really go wrong with Earl Geier's artwork if you are going after that Old School feel. This particular piece is raw, gritty, and can give a sense of dread. It worked perfectly in my projects. Showing this picture to players during a fight with a hag will erase thoughts of little witches around a cauldron with cute black cats....this picture will put their 'game face on'.

Wow...where to start with this? This is amazing artwork and I was able to use two images easily in my adventure for the main bad guy. I used one image easily in conjunction with a different, cave mouth piece for the cover, and it was easy to stick the second image in the interior area with words flowing around the image. The artwork gives a sense of dread and mystery..... I highly recommend this stock art if it fits with your theme. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more of Daniel Comerci's artwork!

While I was looking for art to complement a bog/swamp area surrounded by a forest, I stumbled upon this piece. I literally could of used it three times in my adventure but it actually inspired me to make a new monster and I settled on using it for part of that description. There is a nice play of colors with the blues, greens and slight orange in the sky. There is also a nice shadow in the trunk...is it a door? a mouth? or just part of the tree....it can get the imagination going. Anyways, I was impressed with Jayaraj Paul's work and recommend it for your own projects.
