Retro Space Set One: Space Patrol

The Space Patrol is made up of twelve humans in skin-tight spacesuits with fishbowl, bubble-style helmets on their heads. Their knee-high boots, gun belts, holsters, and the straps of their rocket packs are yellow. Their ray guns and rocket packs are gray-blue and red. Most are armed with large ray pistols, but one is holding a small ray gun, one is holding a beam rifle, and one is holding a shoulder-fired energy weapon. Only one figure has his weapon holstered. The uniforms can be magenta, cyan (looks more blue than green), red (bright red), or green (bright green). They are designed to be based on 25mm bases, but can easily altered to fit on 20mm if that is what you usually use for man-sized figures. This is one of David's earlier sets when he was first learning about layering and therefore there are only four color variations, no way of turning off the text, nor anyway of turning off the helmets (which would have been really cool). Set 4, Space Hero Squad, offers five color variations and a bonus layer with alien life forms, robots, and a couple of cool NPCs. This is still a good set if you are into retro-science fiction and it offers you 48 figures for $2.45, which is an awesome price.

Beautiful figures as always but I kinda wish you'd given us a layer without the bubble helmets...
