The Bridges we Burn - a Numenera Adventure

AJOUTER A LA LISTE DE SOUHAITS >
Option choisie:

The Ninth World is full of wonders and dangers. Just how far will your heroes go to explore them all? How many traps will they disarm, how many ancient tombs unearth? And while doing so, will they ever stop and think about the consequences of their actions? How many bridges will they burn to get treasures, knowledge and glory?

This campaign consists of 5 linked scenarios that can be also played separately. They are designed for Tier 3 characters and offer a variety of challenges: a grand ball and mingling with nobles, investigation, exploration of a strange fortress and finally – battling a powerful monster and its minions to save a city.

The campaign provides 25-30 hours of play, but can be easily expanded and built upon for even more fun! It takes place in the city of Uxphon, which featured in "The Devil's Spine," and serves as an excellent follow-up set of new adventures. But fret not, knowledge of "The Spine" is not required!

Includes never-before seen art to inspire your imagination. And yeah - it is gorgeous.

Mephit James blog: "Either way, this is an excellent adventure that can be used for a range of GMs. For beginners, the story is straightforward and you have lots and lots of information to help you craft a fantastic world for your story. For experience GMs, you can use the tools that Janek has provided to really make the story yours and deal with flighty PCs or unexpected twists with a modicum of control."

This is an adventure module for Game Masters and requires the Numenera Corebook from Monte Cook Games.

This publication comes in 5 files. v1 PDF files are optimized for PC, tablet, phone screens etc. The other three files (they're quite large) can be taken or sent to your local print ship, so you can enjoy "The Bridges we Burn" on paper.

Don't miss my other adventure! "A Breath of Fresh Air" is a Cypher System single-session scenario for Tier 2 characters. Perfect for any Cypher System game - especially for Numenera should you ever wonder what's on the bottom of th Voil Chasm.

This is by far the best self published Numenera campaign I ever came across and it is better of many official ones. The basic plot is based on classic tropes (kidnap of a noble lady, devious religions, attack of an apparently unbeatable beast to a big [...]

Probably the best looking self-published title I've ever seen. The adventure is very open-ended, it sets the stage and guides the GM through the events. It's actually much better than any published Numenera adventure to date! [...]
