With a familiar yet different set of rules, Crimson Blades gives you fantastic old school-style dark fantasy/sword & sorcery role-playing. You can be a brooding sorcerer with a demon blade, a savage barbarian with an equally savage panther companion, a grim tomb-robber seeking the riches of a long-dead empire or even a Dendrelyssi - one of the last members of a decadent race of necromancers looking for redemption in the lands they once ruled. Included in the game are seven human character classes: Barbarian, Fighter, Griot, Mountebank, Sorcerer, Thief and Wayfarer plus the inhuman Dendrelyssi and the NPC classes Fleshcrafters, Royal Redeemers and Witches. There are the traditional rules for spell-casting as well as rules for summoning and binding demons, elementals and undead. Included in the game is a brief setting "The Crimson Lands" for you to use as the basis for your own campaign. This is the second edition of the rpg and includes the First edition Crimson Lords supplement.

The download now includes a free D20 version of Crimson Blades.

I recently purchased the book from Lulu, still waiting for it to arrive. Does the print version include a free digital copy or will I have to purchase the digital copy separately?

Thanks for buying CB2. Regrettably, there is no way to offer a free digital copy with a print version bought on LULU, which is why they are priced so reasonably. However, let me know your email address and I'll send you a link for a comp copy from here.

PURCHASER

In some classes' description, the game makes mention of light weapons and even very light weapons, yet the equipment section and weapon table only mentions medium and heavy weapons. So what's up with that? What is considered light and very light weapons? What would be their special abilities (aside from TWF)?

I have to say I'm getting rather confused about the different versions of the game on Lulu. For the d20version of the game Lulu offers the following...

Crimson Blades D20 (Hardcover)

Crimson Blades 2 D20 Edition

So, other than the fact that one is hardback and one is paperback, what is the difference? If the CB2 is the one to get why isn't it available in hardback like the first version? I'm hoping that they are both the same version with one in HB and one in PB.

WoW I bought the PDF's of the CB1 here and Crimson Lords 1 here and both books as PODS through LULU not long ago and now theres a 2nd edition!....................I checked my accounts on Lulu & Drivethru, I have both CB1 & CL1 pdf's & pods.
